Join us for the launch our 2023 artist collaboration featuring Jeremy Collins and enjoy a reception with the artist at Los Angeles State Historic Park! We’re excited to unveil Jeremy’s custom-created new works, which will support Parks California and all 280 State Parks statewide.
Artist Jeremy Collins is known for his complex, cerebral, and whimsical drawings, murals and maps. From the cover of National Geographic to large-scale murals, books, and films, he is a driving force of nature. As an athlete, he puts up first ascent climbs in far reaches of the globe, and competes in a world renowned 24-hour climbing competition where he maintains numerous all-time records.
Jeremy will be on hand to explain a bit about the artwork he created this year honoring California State Parks, and talk about his process. He will have limited-edition signed prints available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the statewide work of Parks California.
Our guests will also have a chance to go on a special tour of this unique historic urban state park in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, and enjoy refreshments and conversation with Parks California and California State Parks leadership.
