Arts in California Parks is a program from California State Parks that supports artists, culture bearers, California Native American tribes, and communities in creating artwork that offers perspective on our past and present. The program will establish art installations and programming in State and local parks. Through Arts in California Parks, we aspire to contribute to the well-being of all communities and park visitors, creating an environment where the magic of art and culture, and the natural beauty of parks converge.

As the official public-private nonprofit partner to California State Parks, Parks California is proud to administer and manage the grants program, a component of the multi-year Arts in California Parks initiative.
This program is designed to foster vibrant community engagement, support local artists, and celebrate cultural diversity through the creation of art and culture programming in local parks. Together, we aim to enhance the natural beauty of local parks with culturally enriching art programs that invite exploration, understanding, and a deepened connection to our shared landscapes.
